King lauds Inyatsi Group’s collaborative efforts towards EMI factory development

His Majesty King Mswati III has praised the substantial investment of E350 million made by Eswatini Meat Industries (Embiveni), signifying a significant milestone for the company as it transitions into a state-of-the-art meat factory. This commendation was given during the King’s visit to the EMI and Infracast factories, both subsidiaries of Inyatsi Group Holdings, on Monday.

The King commended the remarkable progress achieved by Eswatini Meat Industries since its acquisition by Inyatsi Group Holdings, highlighting the impressive development accomplished in less than a year. His Majesty remarked, “This investment showcases the immense potential and opportunities within our nation’s industries.”

During the tour, the King expressed satisfaction with the modern facilities and advancements made under the leadership of Inyatsi Group Holdings’ Executive Chairman, Michelo Shakantu. He stated, “The transformation of EMI into a world-class meat processing facility is a significant step towards our national development goals.”

Inyatsi Group Holdings acquired EMI in 2023 and has since implemented substantial upgrades and innovations, transforming it into a leading meat processing factory. The King’s visit underscored the significance of this development, recognizing it as a pivotal achievement in Eswatini’s industrial sector.
